Stephanie Jolin (b. December 17, 1989), or Steffy for short, is a singer, dancer, and actor from Freeport, New York. For A Chorus Line, she portrayed the role of Connie Wong in the theater production in CM Performing Arts Center in Oakdale, New York.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Steffy grew up in a Haitian-descent family home in Valley Stream, New York, with brother Manfred, and sister Mady, and her parents Mimi and Madsen. She is a middle child in her family.

College Years[]

After graduating from Valley Stream Central High School in the Class of 2007, Steffy attended college at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY, where she studied music and vocal performance. She graduated from college in the Class of 2013.

Later Years and Current Life[]

Steffy entered her theater career in select theaters such as Broadhollow Theater at Elmont and CM Performing Arts Center in Oakdale, NY as she is today. She also portrayed Princess Tiana (from the film The Princess and the Frog) in the Prince & Princesses Royal Brunch at The Coral House in Baldwin, NY, on November 2018.

Role on A Chorus Line[]

During Broadhollow Theater at Elmont's 2018-19 season, Steffy auditioned for the role of Diana Morales on A Chorus Line and landed the role. With her role as Diana, her parts include her singing in "Nothing" and "What I Did For Love".

In December 2022, during the 50th season of CM Performing Arts Center, Steffy auditioned for the role of another character Connie Wong (here called Connie Edna May Sue MacKenzie) and landed the role. With her role as Connie, her parts include her singing in "Hello Twelve, Hello Thirteen, Hello Love". When Steffy is absent, ensemblist Rebecca Martowski will understudy the role. The show ran from January 28 through February 11, 2023.
